Message drift is the moment that you take a perfect apex on the limit of adhesion and the 4 tires lose a bit of the traction and your car drift to the outside of the track. Being hearing/using that term long before (60's) the Japanese Drift scene appeared.
Loved my aunts Fiat 128 it was a "natural" at 4 wheel drifts while traveling on rural roads.
